GLPI requires a web server set up to run PHP scripts;
${PREFIX}/share/examples/glpi/http-glpi.conf is a sample
configuration for Apache.

In addition, you need access to a MySQL server. Create a MySQL glpi user,
and as that user create a database:

# mysql -u root -p
Enter password: <your_mysql_root_passwd>

mysql> CREATE DATABASE glpi;
mysql> CREATE USER 'glpi'@'<web_server_host_name>';
mysql> GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON glpi.* TO 'glpi'@'<web_server_host_name>'
		IDENTIFIED BY '<your_glpi_passwd>';
mysql> FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
mysql> EXIT
Bye
#

To set up or upgrade GLPI, activate the setup page:

cd ${PREFIX}/share/glpi/install && mv install.php.disabled install.php

Then, open <http://localhost/glpi>. Follow the instructions, enter the
above glpi user's credentials, and select the newly created glpi
database.

Rename install.php when you are done.
